Strigarum Arcana
A Tarot Deck Forged as an Art Object
A complete 78-card system where symbolism, material, and language converge.
A System Named in Latin
In Strigarum Arcana, each card has a Latin name.
Latin is the ancient language in which, during witch trials, the fate of witches was decided.
I chose to use it to create names that act both as spells and as seals.
A way to return power and freedom to the witches.
What Strigarum Arcana is
Strigarum Arcana is a complete tarot deck of 78 cards.
It follows the traditional structure of tarot,
with 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana.
Each card preserves its meaning,
but expresses it through a different visual language.
Gold and Silver Are Part of the Language
In Strigarum Arcana, gold and silver are not decorative elements.
They are used as active parts of the image,
defining structure, contrast, and balance.
Each card is built to be read not only through symbols,
but through light and material.
